CHAGEE puts lemon fruit tea inside its Earl Grey play
Source published October 9, 2026 · Launch announced October 9, 2026
CHAGEE Indonesia announced an Earl Grey range that includes Lemon Earl Grey Fruit Tea alongside milk-tea and brewed-tea versions. The company describes a Ceylon black-tea base with bergamot, and a food pairing with tea financiers.
Our read One named tea can support several occasions. For fruit-tea menus, this is a useful example of giving the tea base as much visibility as the fruit.

Source published October 11, 2026 · Planned location; opening date not established in the cited report
Bay Area Telegraph reported that CHAGEE is coming to 1500 Mt. Diablo Boulevard in Walnut Creek. The outlet cited confirmation from developer Brian Hirahara in an October 8 email and described the division of a former retail space.
Our read A planned address is evidence of expansion intent, not proof of an operating store. The interesting follow-up will be the opening, local menu, and repeat traffic.

QSR reported that participating U.S. Gong cha stores would introduce three limited-time horchata drinks on October 13, spanning milk tea and blended coffee or tea formats.
Our read This is adjacent to fruit tea, but relevant to the wider menu: a familiar local flavor can be a bridge into tea formats customers have not tried.

Fruit oolong moves from the café idea to the bottle
Source published October 1, 2026 · Earlier reporting, included for context
MARKETECH APAC reported that TEAPLUS expanded its Thai ready-to-drink range with Fuji Apple and Lychee Osmanthus oolong fruit teas. The report says the latter was developed with the 7-Eleven team.
Our read The fruit-tea proposition is moving across formats. Tea variety, fruit, floral aroma, and distribution can all be part of the product story—even without a café counter.
