HEYTEA gives mango sticky rice a LISA-led rollout

Source published October 15, 2026 · Collaboration launched October 15; merchandise announced for October 16 at participating stores

HEYTEA announced a collaboration with LISA built around its Mango Coconut Sticky Rice drink, with participating stores in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and international markets. The company describes mango pieces and a mango-coconut slush layered over coconut sticky rice, accompanied by illustrated packaging and merchandise. This is a new collaboration around an existing product: HEYTEA dates the drink’s Chinese debut to 2021.

Our read The hook is a recognizable dessert and a pop-culture partnership, rather than a newly named tea base. For fruit-tea businesses, that makes texture and the story around the cup worth watching. The announcement does not establish sales lift, and the product description alone should not be used to infer tea or caffeine content.

TEA & DESSERT / NEW YORK

A fruit-tea menu becomes a gelato counter in Union Square

Source published October 16, 2026 · Opening announced for October 16, 2026, at 863 Broadway; no independent site visit

HEYTEA announced its first US Gelato Lab+ at 863 Broadway in New York, serving eight gelato and sorbet flavors alongside drinks. Its examples include a jasmine-tea-and-mango gelato paired with coconut sticky rice gelato, and a jasmine-yuzu sorbet containing apple and lime. The company says the gelato concept began as a module in its Shenzhen lab store in 2019; the New York opening gives it a dedicated store format.

Our read This is more specific than another store opening: familiar fruit-and-tea combinations are being sold as dessert. A format extension may create another reason to visit, but the announcement gives no store-level profit evidence. Whether customers return for the scoops is the useful follow-up.

SPARKLING TEA / INDUSTRY WATCH

Dilmah’s sparkling teas move onto the SIAL innovation stage

Source published October 14, 2026 · Selection announced October 14 ahead of SIAL Paris, October 17–21; this brief covers selection, not an award result

Dilmah said three products had been chosen for the SIAL Innovation Paris 2026 Selection. Two are beverage ranges: its Sparkling Iced Tea Collection and Elevrie non-alcoholic sparkling teas in White, Red and Rosé versions. A tea-and-herb range using a cotton tea bag was the third selection. The announcement identifies an industry showcase, not a new US retail rollout.

Our read For readers following fruit tea beyond café menus, sparkling tea is an adjacent format to watch. It changes the serving occasion and presentation around a tea product. Selection for a trade showcase is not evidence of consumer demand, health benefits or availability in a local store.
